How it works
We use fixed wireless point to point technology to create a backhaul network that connects to a number of transmission stations located around the coverage areas.
We install an antenna
A small antenna is fixed to the exterior of your property, pointing to the nearest transmission station and will receive the superfast broadband signal, eliminating problems associated with copper cables and distances from exchanges and cabinets.
You use a router
A small router is located within your property which provides wired and wireless access to the internet.
Connect to our network
Once you’re connected to our network, you’ll have access to superfast broadband. At our main data centre, we have an ultrafast internet connection to the wider internet, where all internet traffic is sent and received.
Connecting the underserved
Large ISPs tend not to invest in rural infrastructure and a result broadband services in rural areas are often slow and unreliable. A recent article and report in The Telegraph here, says that poor broadband is killing off rural life as young people flee for the cities. The report states that young people may leave the countryside to go to college or university and then not return, due to the poor facilities in the countryside.
We believe that no matter whether you live in the center of a city or at the end of the track in the countryside, we should all have access to superfast reliable broadband. That is why we are continually growing our coverage areas, to provide connectivity to those who are underserved by the large ISPs.
